Knowing you pedigree papers
Your puppy comes with official pedigree papers from Dogs NSW/ANKC.
These papers show your puppy’s family tree and confirm they are a purebred, registered dog.

Blue papers
🔵 Blue Papers — Main Register
- Your puppy can be shown in conformation shows
- Your puppy can be bred from (following ANKC rules)
- Full registration with no restrictions
👉 Think of this as “full rights”
🤝 Ownership & Breeding Conditions
In some cases, puppies on Main Register may be placed under co-ownership or breeder agreement. This means:
- The breeder may remain listed as a co-owner on the papers
- Breeding may be done only with agreement from the breeder
- This helps ensure the dog is used responsibly and in line with the breeder’s goals
👉 This is simply to protect the dog, the breed, and future generations

Orange Papers
🟠 Orange Papers —
Limited Register
- Your puppy cannot be shown in conformation shows
- Your puppy cannot be bred from
- Still 100% purebred and registered
👉 Think of this as “pet-only registration”
❤️ Important to Know
- Both blue and orange papers mean your puppy is purebred and officially registered
- The difference is simply what they are eligible to do
- Limited Register helps ensure puppies are placed in the right homes and protects the breed

Information related to papers
Dogs NSW / ANKC are currently reviewing the registration system, including the possibility of phasing out Limited Register (orange papers) in the future.
At this stage, this is not yet finalised, and more information is expected.
We will keep all puppy buyers updated as changes are confirmed.
Your smooth fox terrier standard
The Smooth Fox Terrier is a small, active, and intelligent breed, originally developed for fox hunting. Today, they are known for their bold personality, keen expression, and lively nature.
They are a well-balanced dog, combining strength and agility without being coarse. Their short, smooth coat is easy to maintain, and their overall appearance should be clean, elegant, and athletic.
Smooth Fox Terriers are alert, confident, and full of character, thriving in active homes and enjoying being part of everyday life—whether that’s showing, dog sports, or simply being a much-loved companion.
